How did 4Change pick the charitable causes?
We listened to our customers. After polling a large group of local electricity customers, we took the four stand-out causes and found organizations that matched those missions.

Can I pick my own charitable cause to contribute to?
While we would love to support hundreds of charities, we chose our current four so that our impact is more meaningful for each cause. As always, we still encourage you to donate to your other favorite charities.

Can I use my electric bill to get a tax deduction?
No. Since donations technically come out of our profits—rather than your bill—we don’t have a way of tracking individual customer contributions. However, we take great pride in donating to these causes on your behalf.
