Our Partnership
When disaster strikes, people need relief immediately. And when it hits close to home, it's even more important to help. Through our partnership with the American Red Cross, we’re able to help families across Texas get the assistance they need when their homes are ravaged by flood, tornado, fire, and other disasters.
Last quarter alone, 4Change Energy was able to support more than 75 families through contributions to the American Red Cross.
About the American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is an exceptional organization that provides care to those in need. Their network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and alleviating suffering in the face of emergencies, both here in Texas and around the world.
Each year, the Red Cross responds to nearly 70,000 disasters in the United States, ranging from home fires that affect a single family to hurricanes that affect tens of thousands, to earthquakes that impact millions. The Red Cross provides shelter, food, health and emotional support to the affected families and help to get the entire community back on its feet.
The Red Cross also helps military members, veterans and their families prepare for, cope with and respond to the challenges of military service. They offer emergency communications, training and support to wounded warriors and veterans, as well as access to community resources. On average, they help 150,000 military families and veterans annually.
As the single largest blood collection organization in the country, the Red Cross supplies approximately 40 percent of the nation’s blood supply. They also train more than seven million people each year in first aid, water safety and other lifesaving skills.
